Rules and terms.
How we keep the games and rooms pleasant for everyone, and the ground rules for using the site. Version 2, 27 September 2026.
The short version
Be decent to other people, do not cheat, and remember that anyone who breaks these rules can be removed. That is all of it. The details are below so that nobody has to guess.
The rules
- You are 18 or older. Accounts are for adults. If we find out an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.
- Be decent to other players. No harassment, threats, or targeting people.
- No hate. No slurs and no racist, sexist or otherwise discriminatory content, in usernames, room nicknames or anywhere else on the site.
- No sexual content involving minors, ever, and nothing else that is illegal.
- Do not pretend to be someone else, including Kuro Labs, staff or other players.
- No cheating. Do not exploit bugs or tamper with scores. Results that count for a leaderboard come from the game server; a result that was tampered with will be removed.
- One person, one account. Do not use extra accounts to boost a leaderboard or to get around a ban.
- Do not attack the site or other players' accounts. No spam, no scraping of login data, no attempts to break in.
- We can act. We may rename a user, remove scores, suspend or ban an account, or delete it, if it breaks these rules.
- You can leave at any time. You can delete your own account whenever you like, and it really deletes your data (see the privacy note).
What happens if someone breaks them
Depending on what happened we may warn, rename, remove scores from, suspend or ban an account. If an account is banned we keep a one-way scrambled fingerprint of the login it used, so the same person cannot simply register again; the privacy note explains this. If you think we made a mistake, email Kuro701@seznam.cz and we will look at it again.
Reporting a player
When accounts are open, every public username has a report button. In an online room the host can remove people from the lobby. For anything else, email Kuro701@seznam.cz with the username or room code and what happened.
Using the site (terms)
Kuro Labs is a hobby project run by Jiří Fikejs, Zvole – Černíky, 252 45, Czech Republic. Please read this part too; it is short.
- The games and the site are free and provided as they are. We try to keep them working and your progress safe, but we cannot promise that they will always be available, error-free, or that saves, scores or accounts will never be lost. Keep a note of anything you would be sad to lose.
- We can change or stop things. We may change, pause or remove a game, a feature or the accounts system, and we will try to give notice when something that holds your data goes away.
- Your account is yours to look after. Keep your password to yourself. What happens under your account is your responsibility, and if you think someone else got into it, change your password and log out on all devices in your account settings, or write to us.
- What you type. Usernames and room nicknames must follow the rules above. You keep whatever rights you have in what you write, and you allow us to show it to other players for as long as it is needed to run the game (for example your username on a leaderboard).
- Our work. The games, art, code and text on this site belong to Kuro Labs or its licensors. You may play and share links, but not copy the site or its games and pass them off as your own.
- Liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using a free hobby site. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited, including for damage we cause on purpose or by gross negligence.
- Law and complaints. Czech law applies, without taking away the consumer protection you have in your own country. If you are unhappy, write to Kuro701@seznam.cz first. Consumers in the Czech Republic can also turn to the Czech Trade Inspection (Česká obchodní inspekce) for out-of-court dispute resolution.
- Purchases in the shop are handled by Gumroad under its own terms; these rules cover only the site and its games.
Changes
If these rules change in a way that matters, the version number above goes up, and everyone with an account is shown the new rules once and has to accept them before continuing.
